The Entangled Universe: from neutrinos to qubits - Joseph Lykken (FermiLab)

More than 30 years ago Richard Feynman suggested the possibility of using quantum computers to simulate quantum physics. Now the technologies necessary to realize this vision are finally emerging. Particle physicists are already trying to apply quantum machine learning to the detection of neutrinos, and to simulate the properties of black holes and wormholes. Quantum technologies have applications beyond computing: at Fermilab we are pursuing new fundamental physics experiments that exploit quantum entanglement to achieve sensitivities otherwise unthinkable.
